Renesas Technology Kicks Off U.S. Developers' Conference

SAN DIEGO & SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Renesas Technology today opened the doors to Renesas Developers’ Conference (DevCon), a must-see event for embedded design engineers using or evaluating Renesas microcontrollers (MCUs) and microprocessors (MPUs). Renesas DevCon is the company's first large-scale technical conference of its kind in the U.S., and is expected to draw more than 250 design engineers from North and South Americas.

Beginning today, the three-day technology conference gives system designers developing embedded systems special access to the latest advances in MCU and MPU technology. Attending engineers will have the opportunity to attend lectures, participate in hands-on labs, share ideas and mingle with industry leaders -- all within the warm ambiance of San Diego's historic Gaslamp district.

Among the more than 80 scheduled technical sessions are lectures covering robust CAN connectivity for networking, direct-drive for TFT LCD panels, motor control for home appliances and FlexRay technology for automobiles. Lectures and hands-on laboratories are being led by embedded systems experts from Renesas and technology partners from the large community of third-party suppliers that supports Renesas MCUs and MPUs.
