Entrepreneur of the Week: Larry Bock

After launching over 40 successful biotech and tech companies, Larry Bock decided to take a little time off to take his family abroad. While traveling, he encountered science fairs unlike any other.
After seeing the joy and stimulation the fairs brought to children and adults alike, a light bulb turned on in Bock’s head, and he knew that this was exactly the type of event the San Diego science community could benefit from.
In this interview, Bock discusses his entrepreneurial background and the upcoming San Diego Science Fair, an event he projects will attract approximately 250,000 attendees.
